Often, the Country Fire Authority (CFA) are the unsung heroes of our local communities and MKM Constructions are proud to be working closely with the not-for-profit organisation to help make Ballarat and regional Victoria a safer place. In recent weeks, the CFA in the Ballarat area alone have been at a number of incidents including the scene of a double storey house fire on Park Street, Redan and another destructive blaze on Birdwood Avenue in Sebastopol. The CFA would not be able to do what it does without the support of local community and government.

MKM Constructions are proud to work with the CFAs in our local communities, and have completed 20 newly commissioned headquarters including Mortlake, Hepburn Springs and the brand new Ballarat East station. These modern and quality facilities will enable the CFA to greater serve the local community. Also, congratulations to Ballarat East Fire Station on becoming a finalist in the 2015 Ballarat Heritage Awards. MKM Constructions are thrilled to put our name next to great organisations like CFA.

Local companies like SEM Fire and Rescue are also partnering with CFA with a new order for 70 new CFA fire trucks, providing a guaranteed four years work for their employees and quality product for the deserving CFA of our region.

Our mission at MKM Construction is to serve our local and regional communities with integrity and commitment and we are proud to be working with organisations that approach community in the same way. Whether it is a restoration, a new tilt panel shed or design construct – anywhere in Victoria we aim to give it the same duty of care in all our projects.

This time of year, we often don’t think of our fireys. We want to say a big thank you to all the CFAs in Victorian rural areas. We are encouraged by your great work and are driven to continue to deliver quality builds for all our partners, inspired by CFA’s diligence to serve their community.
