Project Overview
This project involved replacing an outdated shed at the client’s Tatyoon property with a new, practical facility better suited to day-to-day operations. Having previously built a shed for the same client at their Skipton site, MKM was engaged again to deliver a similar outcome at Tatyoon, something proven, functional and cost-effective. The scope also included improving the overall site setup, with the shed and sales office brought into a more workable arrangement through title consolidation and an updated electrical supply.
Project Success & Impact
While not a large-scale project, this job required careful planning to keep the site operational and deliver the new shed in time for harvest. The existing shed had to be demolished while power remained connected, with the original meter box protected during demolition and later relocated into the new building. With only two months for construction, the program was tightly managed and the occupancy permit staged to allow earlier use. The result was a straightforward, dependable facility that met the client’s timeframe and reinforced the value of an ongoing working relationship.

“They have always been great from the planning process right through to finish. Designing what we wanted, custom warehouses and offices, developing to meet all the regulations and things that we need to do. Made sure we got the outcomes we wanted. They’ve been very good, very professional, its good to use another family owned local business that aligns with our values and we’ve been very happy with the process the whole way through.”
