Project Overview
MKM Building Group was engaged to deliver the design and construction of a new office, mechanical workshop and truck wash facility for Wettenhalls at its Altona headquarters. The facility was designed to support both the operational and administrative sides of the business, creating a practical base for fleet servicing, maintenance and day-to-day logistics. By combining these elements within a modern, well-planned site, the project provides Wettenhalls with a facility tailored to the scale and pace of its operations.
Project Success & Impact
The workshop is fitted out with features including software diagnostics, service pits, roller brake testers, a weighbridge and wheel alignment equipment to support ongoing servicing and reliability. Sustainability was also built into the project, with an automated WashTec truck wash using 80% recycled water and rooftop solar helping power the site’s LED lighting.
