Designed for community use and built to last, the new pavilion brings a fresh chapter to Barwon Heads Bowling Club.
Project Overview
This pavilion was designed to give the Barwon Heads Bowling Club a functional, welcoming space that suits both everyday use and special events. The design combines durable, low-maintenance materials with a finish that reflects the character of the town, including Silvertop Ash kiln-dried timber and Matrix cladding in Jasper. Inside, the layout includes open gathering areas, strong natural light, and modern amenities to support members, visitors, and competition use.
Project Success & Impact
Developed in close consultation with local council, the pavilion provides a modern, practical place for people to meet, celebrate, and spend time together. It respects the history of the Barwon Heads Bowling Club while giving it an updated space that will support the club for years to come.

“MKM were the successful builder which was a good result for council, we knew we were going to have a successful project based on the available budget. I can’t speak highly enough of Sam and Hamish they really did a great job, nothing was too much trouble and I would recommend MKM moving forward for any prospective project and happy to be a referee in the future.”
