Project Overview

MKM Building Group was engaged to deliver the base build for a new multi-warehouse development on Dowling Street, Wendouree—a high-exposure site ideal for commercial and industrial operations.

The project involved the construction of three new-build warehouses, each featuring a steel frame, precast concrete panels, and a sleek Alucobond front façade. The front warehouse was purpose-built for Torque Power Husqvarna, designed to suit their retail and servicing needs, while the two rear warehouses were delivered as flexible shell spaces ready for future tenants.

During the later stages of the build, our client secured a tenant for one of the rear warehouses, requiring the integration of a vehicle wash bay. We worked efficiently to accommodate this design change, collaborating with consultants to deliver the modification without delaying completion.

Project Outcome and Impact

The project was delivered on time and to a high standard, with our team praised for their professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail. Once complete, our client carried out internal fitout and branding works to prepare for operations.

The finished facility now supports both immediate business needs and long-term flexibility for future tenants—offering a modern, durable, and well-executed development that adds value to the Wendouree industrial landscape.
